THE NEED OF COMPUTER EDUCATION

Computer is playing vital role in modern life. Computer education has great importance because use of computer has reached almost all spheres of life. They are very useful to us as they can be used for many purposes. They have come to play an important role in our daily lives. So, we can say that the 21st Century is the age of computers and every student should have the knowledge of computer.
Improves Research
Computer education improves students’ research skills by encouraging them to look for information on the Internet. It enables them to research various topics by seeking relevant books that could be digitally available online. The Internet also contains search options, which expose students to diverse ways of obtaining information. Thanks to the speedy nature of the Internet, students can research their desired topics within minutes.

Modernizing Education
Education has benefited from the inclusion of technology and computers by making it easier for students to keep up while helping teachers by improving the way lessons can be planned and taught. Students who use computers learn to use word processors for work, and subsequently they learn computer jargon and strengthen grammatical skills. Students can also look up lessons on websites or through email rather than lugging heavy textbooks with them every day.

Improving Student Performance
Students who use computers have been shown to attend school more steadily and perform better than students who do not use computers. Along with getting higher grades on exams, students also stated they felt more involved with their lessons and work if they used a computer. Using computers gets students to become more focused on their work at home, in collaborative projects with other students and on their own.

Global Awareness
It’s understandable that children who have spent their whole lives in one particular area would have a questionable perception of other places in the world. With travel websites and virtual museums, children can “travel” around the world from the comfort of their Montessori classroom. They might explore magnificent rainforests, visit the Inca ruins of Peru, or examine life on a dairy farm.

Enhanced Creativity
Computer classes allow students to put their creativity to use. For example, classes can involve assembling and disassembling computer parts, which require students to think about and understand how parts function. Students can transfer their enhanced creativity to other activities in their lives, including memorizing scientific facts, historical information or mathematical formulas. Computer education also reduces the time needed to efficiently learn new material.

Learning Job Skills
Computers play a vital role in the modern business world, and many of even the most basic jobs involve technology and computers. Teaching students how to use computers helps them prepare for any number of possible careers, and classes based on computer education can get even more specific. Many classes teach students to use office suite programs, create presentations and data sheets, and learn any number of programming languages such as C++ or Java.

It is worth noting that South Korea was able to defeat Japan in 3 out of the 5 levels that were looked at in the ranking but just couldn’t out pace Japan. This was mainly due to the fact that Japan has invested more into early childhood education compared to South Korea.

3. United Kingdom :The UK seems to have done quite well in this poll done on September 2013.Of all the European countries, the UK is the only country that was able to make it to the top 10 of the ranking.

4. Singapore : The Singapore education system has continued to impress over the years and is giving the UK education system a run for its money. The country ranks highly in primary education and is thought to be inching closer to beating the UK in terms of quality education.

5. Russia : Their luck of investing in early childhood education has been their major undoing as its the main reason why they are not ranked at the top of the list. Russian education system is simply the best.

6. Finland : It is important that although Finland is considered to have one of the best education systems in the world, it does not rank first in any of the levels that were looked at. Its early childhood enrollment was quite poor a fact that made it miss out on the top 5 ranking.

7. Canada : Of all the countries in the world, Canada has the highest rate of college graduates. Although this is quite impressive they tend to overlook the benefits of investing in their children’s education in terms of early childhood education. Once they do that they will simply rank highly on the list.

8. Netherlands : Netherlands is quite the opposite of all these other countries. They have invested a lot in early childhood development and are ranked quite highly but have not done the same in the other areas. The country has one of the lowest high school graduates hence their poor ranking.

9. Ireland : Ireland has done quite a great job with their education system. If only their government would look into the early years of development of their children and invest in that area they would definitely give the other countries a run for their money.

10. Germany : Germany has always ranked highly as a power house as far as education is concerned. However it has seen a steady decline on this area due to its inability to address social change in the country.

BEST MAIN POINTS FOR EDUCATING CHILDREN

Every child has many ways of being smart. Children are natural learners. They are born wanting to learn about the world. You as a parent are a natural teacher. There are new studies that show that parents naturally teach their children to talk. Parents use a special voice when talking to their babies. The voice is a high, sing-song voice that stretches out sounds. Babies learn the sounds of language best from the kind of voice that parents naturally use. You are your child's first and most important teacher. Trust yourself to learn the best ways to teach your child.
